I drink my coffee black. I’m the youngest of four kids, and I grew up in a small town in central Illinois.

My childhood was filled with bare foot, summer nights running around my backyard, listening to baseball on the radio out the window of my dad’s pickup truck. That is where my love for sports began. My need to document moments unfolding around me quickly followed.

I received my undergraduate degree in 2010 from Illinois College, double majoring in psychology and communications. In 2012 I went back to school to get my masters from Syracuse University in the Multimedia, Photography and Design program at the Newhouse School of Public Communications.

I am currently located in New York City working as the Multimedia Producer and Picture Editor at The Players' Tribune.
